About This Project
The Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre is one of JPDC’s latest projects commissioned by Pro-invest Group. It officially welcomed its guests in July 2022 after a full refurbishment of the previous Ibis Brisbane, which was a conversion from a 1970’s office building.
The Indigo is one of the IHG “upper upscale” boutique hotel brands with signature“ neighbourhood story” specifically written for each Indigo in different parts of the world.
The interior design concepts of all Indigos were built upon these neighbourhood stories.
“Uncovering the hidden gem in the neighbourhood laneways” was the inspiration behind the Indigo Brisbane City Centre.
In addition to the bespoke designed elements for all the hotel rooms and public areas, JPDC had also worked closely with a team of local artists in Brisbane developing murals to reflect the neighbourhood stories. All Murals were hand painted on site by these talented artists
JPDC’s design scope on the Indigo is inclusive of all rooms and suites, all hotel front of house public areas including a café, the feature bar and restaurant, a multipurpose lounge, and a gym.
